Hydrotherapy

As well as acupuncture, Tess goes for hydrotherapy at the vettherapycentre.co.uk. She goes into what looks like a large fish tank, which fills up with water to a level that gives her some support. A treadmill then starts up for a 3 minute session, during which she has to walk. There are edges which don't move, and Tess quickly learned to aim for these and cling on, so now we have to hold her lightly so that she can't do this. Whilst she is working her front end for herself, a vet manipulates her back legs, in an attempt to stop her muscles from wasting before she gets any nerve re-growth.
